FAQ
How agentic venture capital works for investors and startups.
Investors
Are you a fund or a tool?
Nami Venture Partners is a venture firm run with agents. The terminal is one way limited partners work with us. It gives investors a direct investing interface for sourcing opportunities, screening deals, and preparing IC-ready memos.
Who is the venture terminal for?
The terminal started as an internal system for our own venture workflow. Now we provide it to limited partners, such as family offices and institutional investors, who want to invest directly in startups. It is most useful for investors who already have venture exposure, but do not have a full in-house VC team to source, analyze, and move quickly on deals.
Why do limited partners need a venture terminal?
More limited partners are moving into direct investments and club deals, but the process is still noisy and fragmented. The terminal uses AI agents to filter noise, organize signals, and turn deal flow into clearer investment memos.
What if I want to invest in the fund?
The fund is for limited partners who want to back the strategy directly. It is designed for investors looking for exposure to early-stage AI companies, or for those who want to support an emerging manager while adding a separate venture allocation alongside their own direct investing work.
Founders
How does Nami work in practice?
Nami is an always-on agent for founder support, living inside a game-like navigation system for startups. It works alongside founders 24/7, helping turn what you are building, what changed, and where you want to go next into a live map of routes, next steps, and milestones based on your stage, market, and current status.
Is this a founder program, accelerator, or investment?
The agent system is mainly built for our portfolio and selected startups. It is not a fixed curriculum, cohort, or accelerator program. Investment is reviewed deal by deal, with check size and terms depending on the company’s stage, market, and progress. Along the way, Nami also looks for useful resources and perks for founders, such as credits, tools, and partner support.
Can Nami help investors discover my startup?
Nami is not a pitch platform where startups directly message investors. But the more useful context you share, the easier it is for our agents to understand what you are building. Over time, that may help the right opportunities surface to our team and co-investors through the terminal.
How can I join or get access?
Nami is currently invite only. Access is mainly for portfolio companies and selected startups. If you want to get on our radar, email [email protected] with a short note on what you are building. If Nami keeps seeing your name pop up, she may get curious.
